At every stage and new milestone I tell myself I love the stage Lucy is in right now. I don't want her to grow up any more because I love this stage. But then she grows up and I love the next stage too. This month Lucy moved away from her loving grandparents and aunts and uncles from Utah to California. She was the perfect baby during the 9ish hour drive from Utah to Pasadena, Ca, thanks to her Nana who kept her binki in and constantly supplied with a new toy. Well, nearly perfect until she had a blow out in Victorville that landed Mom and Nana at some shady liqour stores looking for some much needed baby food and cleaning a poopy baby, car seat, toys, pacifier, and a quick wardrobe change for all involved.
Before we moved Lucy spent lots of quality time with family and she'll miss her cousin Drew.
The most exciting thing this month is that Lucy gained her independence on Independence day and finally perfected her crawl.
At nine months Lucy's curiosity is ever increasing. She was almost as excited as I was to get a new washer and dryer. Watching the clothes and be quite entertaining.
Casey took a real estate test soon after we arrived in San Seigo while he was taking his test Lucy and I took a stroll through Sea Port Village.
Followed by a trip to the beach.
My favorite thing about Lucy is that she is more cuddly now than she was before.
And lastly we love playing peek-a-boo with eachother.
